Amazon and VCC
 

Last time I set up an account I do not remember Amazon saying this.

When you put the info. in it says

"to verify your identity and validate your card, we ask your bank to authorize it's use. we ask your bank if there is up to $4 in your account that we could charge. We do not actually make the charge, we just ask if this amount exists in the account."

I don't remember it saying this before. Is this going to affect using a VCC?

Some VCCs that are meant for AZ use will allow it but for the sake of your account, I would use a longer-lasting VCC.

This to prevent people from using VCCs.

Most VCCs come with $1.00 only.

Last time I needed to I went the VCC route. That was probably 8 months ago though. Do I need to find a different route this time? VCC won't work anymore?

i dont recommend using vcc because amazon sometimes chargers the card to see if it still valid at any point

What would you recommend using instead of VCC?

Where do I get one of these? As stated. I used a VCC from the seller store here last time and it worked fine. I obviously would not be using my name on the new account so it would have to be something that works without my real name on it.

Think Vanilla Visa gift card still work.

Anyone else know if the Vanilla Visa card works to initially set up the seller account?
