how to kick start amazon acc

got an az acc for couple of months now, it has no feedback even though had a couple of sales, I listed few items priced lower than competitors but no hits
suppose people do not trust low feedback accs?

I know how to kickstart an ebay, sell lots of lowish price items for feedback...
but my amazon niches are higher priced items, suppose I can source low price items that comply with az, just do not think I can be bothered to.

I built up my account by selling penny novels and some Monster audio equipment I got at below cost from a friend who had a supplier. Didn't make money on any of it, but at least you just need a couple feedback. I needed 100 transactions (!!!).

Find a niche and Amazon can make you a fortune with or without feedback and without the hassle of questions and none paying bidders

dont worry about no feedback look around the other sellers and see what you can come up with

i got too greedy and started to sell too much too quick i went from being a bit part Amazon seller as i have a few ebay acounts to totally Amazon didnt even bother with ebay at all and made more on 1 Amazon account than 5 ebay

Easier listings no hassle and profit margins about 50% higher + only 90 day hold

desperate to get back on as im back on ebay again

Dont give up on it you will find a way

Sell used movies dvd/books to have some good feedbacks/selling history first and that's what I did with my 3 main amazon accounts.

used or new DVD is a terrible idea. But I am sure oompaloompa knows that already ;)

oomps

i usually hit a new account with items equivalent in price to competitors

feedback doesnt seem to matter as i always do plenty of sales from the off

I think it depends :D Since my accounts are still up and running I think it should be ok to list them. But book is a good choice then :d

i've noticed with amazon that feedback does not make as much difference as it does on ebay. buyers trust amazon generally and that trust seems to be enough.
