Question about mac and ip address.
I have had a buying account for 3 years on amazon , Today I was locked out.

I want to reformat my hard drive buy a new ethernet card (new change mac address. And reconfigure my modem for a new ip to start another one. will this work or is there an faster way,I figure they will get the mac address so I would change it.

any ideas would help thanks.

Why your Buying account locked out?

they said to many refunds. No biggie i already have 4 buying accounts but i wanted to use my main computer it is on hi speed.

if i have my main computer hooked up to my external encore router how do i change ip within the external Encore router?
will my broadband modem have to be reconfigured also?

I second justarslan. Why were you locked out? Ripping off sellers, too many returns? Amazon is very lenient with buyers; you were probably very bad to get booted as a buyer, and I can't see any of the sellers here helping you if this is the case.

No No No..Excessive refunds yes but to my own seller accounts. When my selleraccounts went down I refunded my self .From my multiple buying accounts.That is why.
not other sellers since I am a seller my self.

I wanted to also try setting up a computer on broad band to sell but if i do not configure it they will link it to my defunct buying account.

Get the picture,Wondering how to have a buying and selling on broad band with out being linked.

I dont quite get it, you refunded your seller accs from your buyer accs?

I purchased stuff from my own seller account to get feedback since these idiots do not leave feedback. So I guess I used my main amazon buying account to many times for excessive refunds.That is what amazon told me in an email when I could not log in. This is why I wanted to change my ip so i could use the same computer again. .This was the reason. Like other sellers do the same for their accounts.

do not see why you needed to refund yourself, easier to bank the money from your seller acc, makes you seller acc look better plus you get feedback.

anyway easiest way is new pc or vm ware or dowload a mac spoofer like titanium...you could do with the ebook

I purchased from my seller account from multiple buyer accounts . I used 1 buying account to many times and gave that buying account to many refunds. The refunds were only done when the seller accounts went down. Amazon looks at buyers also for excessive refunds.

I think you answered the question yourself here, if you do what you suggested it will get you back on amazon with no link to suspended account.
