I would assume so.

They probably would want to know who is using their site after all for advertisement purposes, problem return buyers, and just collect more data to build an army against sellers...

I haven't done anything I'm just curious as to whether this is true or not. The fact that there are probably 50 times more buyer accounts out there then seller accounts makes me think that there is no possible way for Amazon to be able to collect and store THAT much data. I could be horribly wrong of course.

They can store any amount of info imaginable. No limits. Filtering through all of it to find usable data is another thing altogether, though.
