New to selling on Amazon, or new stealth account? First thing to do: read the AZ TOS!
 

Many people mess up on Amazon because they miss some arcane AZ rule that ends up getting them booted. And some not so arcane, ie, having a high order defect rate (ODR), return rate (in certain categories), and so on. If you are just getting started on AZ, or are back after being suspended, STOP!!!! Read their rules and policies, starting at the Amazon help page under "selling on Amazon.com". I didn't add the link here because it got butchered by the forum software.

This is my STRONGEST suggestion to you, if you're hoping to be on AZ for more than three days. You will probably find some rules that you had no idea existed. I know I did, and I've been selling on Amazon for almost ten years between my original account and my stealth one. The stuff you find here is the LAW as far as Amazon is concerned; it's not optional. You don't go driving without reading the DMV manual and getting a license. Don't go selling on Amazon without reading the AMAZON manual, and then, the STEALTH guide :)

Noble effort ovidiu but ...lot of deaf ears out =( But here's hoping you make a difference =)

Thanks rsot. My concern? That one day all of the half-ass "let's sell some junk/phakes on AZ/eBay and maybe I can last ten days and scam some one, make some quick cash" efforts will eventually make it next to impossible to make a stealth account on Amazon OR eBay.

The buy.com marketplace requires an SSN up-front. There is no reason why AZ or eBay couldn't eventually do this. If they do, practically everyone =royally screwed.
