Google Voice for Amazon verification - still ok to use?
I set up the google voice (thank you newjerseyman)- wish I asked b4 buying tracfone & minutes - oh well can use another time.
But I have question about amazon phone verification
When I called the new google number from my home phone for the 1st time a voice message came on saying - "please state your name after the tone and google voice will try to reach ----" Then it rings the phone you have it forwarded to, after you say something. It only happens the 1st time you dial the google number from any phone - so I am assuming that it will do it to amazon - is that okay - will I still pass verification?? Does it give you a 2nd chance to verify if it does not work with the first number you give them? |
