How to edit description for ''sell yours here''

I have a pro merchant account on amazon, I have an item that is the same as what another seller has, (I do not have any barcodes yet) so I click the sell yours here logo,however on the other sellers listing it has information that does not apply to me, but amazon wont allow me to change the description, so how does that work? Can I sell as ''Similar'' and just cody the ASIN number in.
