Can amazon see what is written in the messaging system?

I have an old suspended account from like 3-4 years ago. I havent used amazon really until like 6 months ago since then and things have been going well.

My amazon account has my name but a different address associated with it, Can I instruct people to return it to my home address(prior suspended address) via messaging?

Of course you "can", but I assume that it's looked down upon.

You can just make up some excuse (something better than "I moved", that's too cliche) explaining why to return items to a different address.
