Account in Review

Hi everyone, just found this forum and signed up.

My account is currently in a review and I would like to know what the velocity limit is likely to be at after the review. I would also like to know when I should expect for the review to be over.

He are the details of my account...

My account was opened at the beginning of June. I sell brand new items that are not high risk. Items price range from $5 to $80(higher priced items sell more). I sold about $150 a week for the first three weeks. Right after receiving my first payment($150) I decided to list all of my inventory. Items began selling quickly, and only six days after my first payment, I got an email that said my account was under review. This email came when my funds were at about $1100 total.

It's been two weeks since that email and I am at about $2400 total. I have no A-Z claims. I have 10 feedback and all are five full stars. I have sold about 80 items since opening my account. I haven't heard anything from Amazon.

My sales are dwindling because I can't replenish my inventory due to my funds being held up. I would like to know how much I will be able to sell in a week before I get another review.

Currently, the review is on week three. I've been rated five full stars again.

i'm on 2.5 weeks and nothing from AZ

alikayani 07-16-2012 11:46 PM

Account reviews can take up to 30 days. So you wait and hope for the best.. :)

Welcome to the forums. Nice detailed writeup - all the best during your review. Provide the info requested.

Does anyone else with stealth accounts sales significantly decreases when their account is under review?

beatingebay 07-18-2012 11:32 PM

Let me tell you I have a stellar account in my real name. Amazon sucks. They will always side with the customers. Period. If they fill out an A-Z claim. they win and it goes against you. Omg I have learned to hate them. This customer got her item was verified it was delivered. She complained. Not only did she get her money back she gets to to keep my item! this is the second time and I am done! Going back to ebay now!

Hi, welcome to the forums.

I hope everything is ok with your account, any updates?

JohnN 07-19-2012 03:02 PM

Still in review. Over three weeks. %20 feedback, all 100%. No A-Z claims. Amazon isn't asking for anything.

The email I received from Amazon seems to be different than what others are posting. I am not using a 'stealth account'.

This is the email I received..

It's almost been four weeks, no A-Z claims, one return, %20 feedback at %100, no emails from Amazon.

I deleted all of inventory because I need funds to stay in business and Amazon is holding my funds.

It seems as if these reviews could put someone out of business.

Lheonard 07-23-2012 02:53 PM

It looks like that their reviews are very random, you're account is in good standing according to what you said.

Jojoharris 07-23-2012 04:41 PM

Hi, I had the same email and have only just passed the review after just over 8 (longest review period i have had) weeks...phew! I see reviews as a good thing though, at least if you pass them it puts your account in good standing....try and look at the positives ;)

good luck with it

Artann 07-24-2012 10:28 PM

8 weeks?!?!? THIS IS CRAZY!!!

Gamefreak 07-25-2012 01:36 AM

8 weeks! Holy mother, did you have like 30k after that review was done or something...

rsot 07-25-2012 10:02 AM

Very odd - you might be on the end of the chopping block then.

homerz 07-25-2012 12:35 PM

thats a new record... I went a little over 6 weeks, but I passed and am still selling, got my first transfer on Monday (3500$).

JohnN 07-25-2012 01:17 PM

Will these reviews happen everytime I sell $2000 of items?

dpestish 07-25-2012 01:23 PM

i reckon you sold too much too early, that's why you got flagged

spread it out over 2/3 acc's and limit the chance of getting a 'manrev'
