Pro Merchant : When will they debit?
 

Hi,

I just switched to pro merchant but the account was created with a vcc, will Amazon debit the money now?

The account has no sales and no bank account attached yet.

Your account should show a negative balance of $39.99 until you make your enough sales to cover the fee for Pro Merchant ...

They will most likely do a debit within the first week to month to make sure the card is legit. They could also do it at some other time as well, to make sure it is in good standing/active. The absolutely only time they will debit is if you can not cover the 39.99 monthly fee (not enough sales).

I just checked and the negative balance of $39.99 is not here yet, pro merchant subscription was performed yesterday.

I'm glad to hear they don't do the debit immediately, now I have enough sales to cover the fees.

If you created your account on the 15th, and for the first month your sales are slow because you are new, they will most likely debit you on the 15th of the next month.

They deducted the $39.99 from the sales, everything is okay.

VCC is long lasting?

^So far the account is still alive but only time will tell.

By the way the fee they deducted is for the sales I made not the pro merchant subscription, the amount was almost identical which explains the mistake.
