Amazon stealth account placed on hold? Help!
 

I just opened a amazon account with a name and address I found in the phone book. I sold two cell phones, mailed them out and the next day I could not log into my seller account. I tried the change password thing and all I get is" there is no registered user with that email address" I called customer support and they just said the account has been placed on hold and I would get a email from seller support, A few days go buy, nothing, I call again they say basically the same thing, wait for seller support to contact you, Now I get a customer that wants to return phone, I have no way of contacting them, Amazon grants her the full refund but I don't know what is happened to the phone. They wont tell me anything and wont return calls or emails. They did ask for my banks phone # and so I gave them the number on the back of the gift card.. I have had many hit & run amazon accounts but this is the first time I cant access the seller account and wait 90 days for payment. Has this happened to anyone before?

looks like the account is done and you lost 2 phones. Why would you ship next day on a brand new account especially electronics.Think all steps for next account.be careful.

I have done it before and just had to wait 90 days, I've been doing it about every month. I could always see the account just not sell. this one seem different this time. I can't even log in

yeah they are getting more strict. Account inactivity to amazon usually means its a sleeper stealth to them. Gives them a chance to look for that person and decide if its stealth or not. :>

As others have said, your account was deleted not suspended

It seems since the beginning of this year, selling on Amazon is being run much stricter than in any years past ... if my memory serves me correctly, I don't remember it being like this back in 2010 and before

You gave them your banks phone number? That means amazon calls to verify the name and address on the card matching with the account?

I think what probably triggered it was that somebody else had that same name and address already used up for selling.

never give info for stealth.

your account got deleted and you won't be getting it back. All other is just a noise.

I dont think the bank will give that info out.
