Why was I suspended?

Hey guys,
I was wondering if you veterans could help me pinpoint what I did wrong and why Amazon suspended me.

Here is the story:
I buy on eBay, to resell at a higher price on Amazon. These items are those GBA consoles/games/stuff (I used when younger). I used a 7+ year old seller account that already had a few 100% fb.

I was going good, with 130+ completed orders, one return, all in <6 weeks.

I had gotten 2 fbs - bringing my total to 5 at 100%. Then suddenly Amazon places my account under review and I make a silly appeal. The day later they suspend me with no reason given. No a-z chargebacks, etc.

Two reasons:
1. Silly appeal to expedite proces
2. I sold ONE counterfeit during that time, and I clearly labeled as Aftermarket copy (that was in my 70ish order)

Any response is appreciated,
thanks

There is always a reason, and it appears the counterfeit is most likely the reason. As with most people on here, when it comes to them getting suspended they leave out alot of details, but from what you said, you answered your own question.

That might just do it with AZ.

One foo-foo

One over-the-top demand to them

equals

Bye bye from amazon.

:smash:

Alright, thanks for the reply guys.
I was registered as a Sell your items, meaning less than 40, but I sold 140, as well as never reported any taxes. Would that have anything to do with it?

I'm hesitant on that one counterfeit, as I never saw the a-z claim, plus it was 2 weeks before suspension.

Thanks

Post the email here. Selling one foo foo might not be the reason they banned you.

Gamefreak 08-12-2012 05:02 PM

you never want to rush these things. It only takes a pissed off employee 2 seconds to hit a button ( as we know it to be ) and forever suspend you...

BenJones 08-12-2012 06:29 PM

Account under review
Smart-ass appeal (I regret it :p)
Suspension letter

Gamefreak has a good point. Maybe an employee having a bad day?
The other things I could think of were a competitor reporting me for selling of counterfeit item (just one :mad2:) and Amazon dealing with it 2-3 weeks later.

Thanks

Double check your attachments.....

No sign of the appeal letter............ so wanted to read it :pop2:

Truly though, you don't regret it. You just regret it did not work
:pound:

Ehh, I can't find the edit button.
Here is the appeal

@Greenbean - Yeah, that does make sense, but of course I wish I had done some things differently.

After reading your appeal, No wonder they banned you. You have to act proper businessmen/businesswomen even if you have to ⊗⊗⊗⊗ it. River does not want amateurs on their site.

I actually liked it :welcome;

It's all speculation, and Amazon is good at keeping people wondering.
Thanks for all the responses.
I have learned two things:
1. Never sell anything that is counterfeit (even just one!)
2. Act professionally at all times

@justarslan - lol, yup, that just might've gotten me banned.
