Strange?

Greetings from Amazon.co.uk,

We are writing because we have recently received reports that you may be diverting Amazon.co.uk customers to another sales process. This is a serious violation of our Participation Agreement.

As stated in our Listing Rules:

"Do not divert transactions or buyers. Any attempt to circumvent the established Amazon.co.uk sales process or to divert Amazon.co.uk participants to another Web site or sales process is prohibited."

Please note that all transactions must be made through the Amazon.co.uk website. Any further attempt to divert buyers to a different sales process outside of Amazon.co.uk may result in the closure of your selling account.

Thank you for your cooperation and your interest in Amazon.co.uk.

Regards,

Anyone seen anything like this before?

Ive been selling on amazon for atleast two years now. Finally got a stable account thats 8 months old and passed a review with ease.

Now i get this . Anyone seen this before? I have certainly not ever tried to get a buyer to purchase an item from me elsewhere.

So my only conclusion to this is another rival seller reporting me to amazon for some rubbish.

Any comments or answers or maybe even someone here who has had the same thing. Any comments will be helpful.

Thanks in advance

Pidge90

Have you messaged any of your buyers outside links?

Lheonard 08-22-2012 01:24 PM

^ Have you or any of your customers ever used any email address in the messages?

pidge90 08-22-2012 01:59 PM

Hello i have never ever messaged a buyer an outside link or my email address.

have you link to a website?

tura910 08-22-2012 02:26 PM

I think a phone number might count as well. Man I used to put my email address in messages all the time haha. I always had to do it in code like @gmail , C0M ..never got in trouble for it though.

Az sophisticated tracking system is getting too sophisticated for AZ itself

pidge90 08-22-2012 03:44 PM

Ive never linked to a website, for one i dont have my website and i wouldnt tell the buyer where i buy my products from either.

Also my phone number, never. I do not give out my details to buyers other then my return address. But they does not include a email address or a phone number.

So i really am out of ideas unless another seller can report me for false charges.

Cheers

did you call amazon??

slokor 08-22-2012 04:08 PM

Could this be a competitor trying to get you in trouble and falsely reporting you to Amazon?

Gamefreak 08-22-2012 04:39 PM

Do you send links with anything that you send the customers?

Lheonard 08-23-2012 03:03 AM

Have you ever THOUGHT of selling outside Amazon?

I think their system now has the ability to read your thoughts in order to take preventive and corrective measures.

Welcome to the world of ecommerce rivalry.:smash:

Depending on your category ( & I do not want to know) there may be a competitor bottom-feeding off your good work.

Hello, Thanks for everyones answers. But im certainly going with greenBean on this one.

Ive never linked anything or suggested any other website.

So its either the amazon thought tracker thats got me lol or its just a rival seller.

Guess ill just have to make more stealth sleeper accounts and prepare for the worst.

Thanks for everyones time, cheers
