Amzaon starting to clean house
 

Started new accounts various times. all getting hit after a few days failed review. amazon is pulling their cr@p again.

Failed review wtf all new accounts within say 1 week. all multiple computers and different setup and hardware isp ip etc.. Now I will try something else. At least I did not waste and banking info for deposits. I wait till the last minute to put it in the account.At this point I would not even go pro I would be out 40.00 initially.

Can you list the steps you have taken to open the stealth account. Perhaps, we can detect the flaws.

reformat h drive. new browsers etc.new cc new address new ip new state for account. may be the newer items listed. but not listed as new selling as used. all legit merchandise.

Same thing with me.. list 2 in the last month

listed newer edition boxsets used. maybe that raises a flag? All my stuff is legit . try again.

I ran into the same thing. Brand new computer no links at all. My own vanilla visa and google voice #. Within hour banned!

This makes me nervous because I am getting ready to create a new account and don't want this to happen to me. What do you think is linking you??

If you didn't know, Vanilla Visa is what got you banned.

Amazon is wise to Vanilla Visa and since it can't see your Name/Address on it ... they just outright ban you. You can use gift cards to create a seller account on Amazon, just not Vanilla Visa.

Google Voice works fine

Do you know if you can use Discover Gift Cards?

I have never had problems with vanilla visa and I have over 5 accounts running on Amazon now with Vanilla visa. I started one of my accounts 3 weeks ago with vanilla visa. Not sure why you are having problems with using vanilla visa on Amazon :noidea:

Simply we had a discussion some weeks ago that it was likely that amazon would again start getting rid of accounts as the big selling season approaches.

Getting rid of anything not meeting their standards was certain to start. Seems it is.

Slightly off-topic, the BIG players tidy up everything for busy periods. ebay does this too.

I wonder if that is what happened with me... I was selling for 9 mnths and no reviews and all of sudden BAM! But I think it was b/c I opened up more than one account, cause I didn't realize you couldn't do that, so I used all the same info, etc etc... interesting... But if you had a good stealth accnt, it should have passed all of that and still be good, right?

I would never say that for amazon. It's a tough platform to stay selling on. :peace:

Another 3 day old account in review sold 3 items. worth a total of 100.00. walking away from it.If i was put in review in 3 days their is no way it will pass. amazon is starting to play the games.

How many open accounts do you have with them?

Hate to state the obvious since I am a newbie, but did the OP mention if he got a new router or otherwise change his MAC and therefor Amazon is linking the accounts? Just asking...

What is your oldest/newest account you have?

what is left are newer accounts. amazon is cleaning house.

They closed my duplicate account, and told me to keep the selling one account only. The original account did not get suspended.

Yeah I opened up 3 total. Got permission on the second one after I got the email to close the other ones- and tried to transfer the third one over to my husband (I didn't realize they could track everything like they can) so that is what got the review going.

Then with all that I had some items that I got off Ebay that turned out to not be legit. So it was a domino effect. BUT If I would have never had those other accounts, I am not so sure I would have gotten a review. Sucks! That's what happens when you start to get greedy!! LESSON LEARNED!

Down to one account from 14! time to abandon amazon altogether wasting to much time and energy. going to ebay for now. Haven't sold on their in 10 years. Has to be better than amazon and their f up ways.

Whatever else you do when you come back to ebay, BE PREPARED.

Make sure you go over the threads & check.

If you are using paypal, be ready for 21 day holds.

Do not under any circumstances think ebay is like it was 10 years ago.

I got hit, only sold one item. Have a few items listed. Opened it early aug. Got hit with the email, then an hour later I sold an item. figure that out. Next day around the same time I get another email saying i am in violation of a policy for selling outside if amazon to avoid fees. This is my first ever amazon account and its my real info...

If you ask me they are just looking to decrease their numbers as the policy email was complete bs.

Down to 1 az account no use pi$$ing and moaning. I know the deal. Look over the site and see small sellers are either extinct or Trashed via feedback. I gather a lot of the bad feedback is because of what we all on here have found out about and what amazon has done to our accounts. F@ke reviews F@ke copied media suspension letters etc. Just to wash us away and hold funds. But their will be alight at the end of the tunnel. when we see god and get the hell out out here LOL!!!!

I have a real account on amazon. This new California Tax law...is freaking people out. Sales are way down and customers are not buying. Called Amazon myself...same law as ebay now 200 transactions or $20,000 in a year. So if you can just sell on ebay for a while. Have a ebay account thanks to this forum and sales are up!

I second that, it is AND and not OR. I just double checked. Another thing is that they want your SSN almost right after you open an account!

The law is total bull*shi*t to me. They only put it in place to cover their own A$$ (the govt) with all their wasted spending so keep taxing the people and they can live high in the kingdom.

umm you are supposed to be paying the taxes regardless whether or not amazon is enforcing it. welcome to the united states

.got banned within 2 hours.well i think because i sold 42 items within 2 hours thats maybe why.

but hey i thought about it if i'm a busines why would i get ban???? i guess amazon is retarted.
