It's a scare and a silly thing you did to include a branded item as a gift.

How many times has this happened?

Free gifts should always be neutral.

:pop2:

BigCJ 10-19-2012 08:30 PM

A true owner of the items is going to contact amazon. And in turn amazon contacts the seller and usually boots you right away.
Its a crappy scare tactic.

jojo2012 10-19-2012 10:36 PM

its chinees talk. They want to scare you. That does not mean however that they wont report you.

I second that...

Gamefreak 10-19-2012 11:51 PM

I actually got one of these and is WAS NOT a scare tactic, sadly.. I did end up getting a violation for it... Ask this person for proof they should send it to you..

The guys who sent me this email send me some type of scanned paper with some info on it i wasnt paying much attention to it as I thought it was total bs

They warned me, I was like whatever you have your stuff listed on amazon I can sell it. few days later BAM listing removed....

I have also received notices like that but on ebay. Most of them are just hot air, but sometimes my listing did get taken down.

The item being sold is a non branded item, the gift is a branded item. I'm selling the non branded and in comments wrote gift not included.

I asked for proof right after I saw message, did not get anything from them so far.

Is the REAL sentence they sent you? Grammar and wording is quite questionable - they're fugging with your head.

Broken English doesn't always mean they are messing with you. Maybe they just don't know how to properly word it.

I would wait for proof. I guess the worst thing that could happen is the listing is removed??

Gamefreak 10-20-2012 02:47 PM

you can always contact amazon directly and see what they say...

See if there are any restrictions on said listing...

Better be safe than sorry this time of year. You wouldnt want your account to get canned

You are only going to run into issues with that. People dont read the comments section at all.

Do you like missing the point?

Including the BRANDED ITEM even as a gift caused this reaction.

Whoever sent the notice did that to scare you AND it appears to be working.

In case you still do not understand, a branded item SENT free might back-fire.
The IP owners might not go along with your kindness.

Que?

A notice of removal should be ( at the least) professional in its content.

Would love to see the entire email & header.....

That will give a lot more info

From my personal experience, I sell authenticated products that are limited to a handful of approved sellers. The IP Department will send a polite general warning letter and if you do not take action on your own, they will forward any violations to amazon, and amazon will most likely just suspend your account.

He's not including the branded item, just the unbranded. The original Chinese seller is the one sending the branded item as a gift. Do YOU like missing the point?
