Amazon Seller Terms

Hi All. New here! Found this forum through a link on another one.

Hubby has been selling on Amazon for quite a while now and it is our only real income. After reading some posts about Amazon suspending you just because they can, I'm starting to get worried!

I went to check out their terms and conditions for sellers just to check through them again, and blow me I can't find them!!! I have only managed to find general terms, not specific for sellers. Haven't come across anything about you're only allowed one seller account, etc., etc.

Can anybody point me in the direction of their terms for sellers?

Thanks

hi.iam selling on amazon for quite long time.its really difficult to be susspended there if you are not selling digital products ,softwares, books, games, dvds etc and if you are not selling items with bad origin alongside with amazon .you need one seller account where you pay 28£ monthly .i think you are not allowed to have 2 sellers acc with the same name .the best way is to create your own listings as i do and not to compete with 5-10 sellers for one listing.let me know if you need anything else to know.i

HI and thanks for the reply.

My main question was where can I find the terms and conditions for sellers on the amazon site

Cheers

Hi. Not quite sure what happened to my reply I just did so trying again :)

Thanks for the reply. Our listsings are not digital products. I only became aware that a lot of people have been suspended after somebody posted they were on another forum. They were not selling digital products either.

But my main reason for my post was to try and find out where the seller's terms and conditions are on Amazon.

Anybody know?

Cheers

Put it like this.... its a privilege NOT a right to sell on amazon or any other site for that matter.

They can and sometimes do suspend sellers for no reason or at least we think of it as no reason as we're not on the inside but theres always a reason...

Welcome to the forum :)

Amazon is a complex beast as a selling platform.

There is not exactly one defined amount of terms and conditions.

In fact amazon really does not lay out too much of them. ( If you were to compare them with ebay, imo.)

Your better approach would be to go right thro' the amazon site to determine what you need to know.

Good Luck

It will be in your seller central. If all else fails create a case and ask for the link through seller support.

Thanks. I will contact them as there is no mention of terms or conditions in my seller's account.

Are you a us seller or ca seller?

dancnbaby 10-27-2012 10:55 AM

Here is a link to get you started. A simple search on their site will get you there.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_sn_sell?nodeId=1161232

When you are signed into your seller account click on help, then policies and agreements.

Dunno what it is with amazon, but their links sometimes do not work.:croc:

Its because - sometimes - that little 'gp' in the link comes up as 'g/p' which screws up the link :)
