Default BBB recognized amazon deleting accts

Not sure if this is old news but according to BBB website

"On June 13, 2012, BBB recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding sales practice issues. Consumers allege Amazon.com closes their selling accounts without indicating what specific terms of their agreement were violated. Consumers claim once their accounts are closed, the company does not release funds within the dates specified, or funds are held indefinitely. Consumers further allege the company does not properly follow A-to-Z Guarantee Protection rules or policies. Consumers claim when they try to contact Amazon.com regarding these issues, the company becomes unresponsive."

Maybe if more people launch complaints BBB will put pressure on amazon?

Amazon doesnt give a sh!t about this cr@p. There have been plenty of damaging stories about amazon and they never seem to care. They actually make things worst the more ppl complain.

At least there is some recognition of what's going on. I'm sure amazon would care if a serious lawsuit came their way.

Amazon won't care. What they WOULD care about is bad stories from buyers.

However - if this can "ding" Amazon's rating with the BBB, then they may change what they are doing.

Aren't buyers affected by the deletion of accounts? Orders don't get shipped out and contact ceases

Sometimes, but Amazon will just refund their money.

Thus making the buyer believe that the seller is at fault. Making amazon get the sale directly in most cases...

That link right there should be proof enough...

YES, indeed that is enough proof. I have $5000 frozen up in one of my stealth Paypal accounts.

An account that has a CC, two bank accounts and an EIN attached to it.

Guess that was not enough for them. Now, they want a picture of me, my brother's wife's bra size and a full body cavity search. Not to mention a full sized TSA 360 hi-res nude video of my 93 year old grandmother (to make sure she isn't packing heat)!

Yes, the dreaded "limited account" with like a 9 point checklist. They even asked me for a tracking number on an order I refunded. The brilliant "computer brain" at Paypal randomly chose that one.

But, hey, the BBB says they are legit, so I must be just imagining all of this.

The real truth of the matter is, that all of these complaints in reguards to Deleting/Limiting seller accounts are actualy "Spun" to work in Amazons/Paypal's FAVOR,,It is REAL Simple,,Like it or not its BUYERS, NOT Sellers are the LIFEBLOOD of these companies, and in ALL these cases their Respnse to the general Public is almost ALWAYS the same,,,that they take these actions " in order to provide a SAFE, and SECURE shopping experience ",,,when Buyers hear that,,they SWOON, and FLOCK to these sites,,and thats the truth

All details are in their policies and procedures, which you agree to when you sign up, but probably dont read.

One slight problem is that Paypal is actually doing literal illegal activity.

They play on the fact that State law does not matter, so they just straight break them.

For instance, in Florida, the State requires that those who mediate payments between buyers and sellers are required to pass the money within 10 days to the seller.

Yet, that does not stop paypal from breaking such laws. They hold people's money for 21 days, 90 days on rolling reserves, 6 months if your account is frozen.

Many such laws are found in various states, but Paypal just keeps trucking along.

This is not about a user agreement. This is about straight breaking clear and concise laws.

This is NOT counting the fact that they are behaving like a bank but are not actually a bank, which also is in violation of many state laws.

Since people try to fight them on the federal level, they don't really get anywhere.

And since paypal has lots of high powered lawyers, while you have jack ****, they get away with it.

On top of the fact, that just last week Paypal put out a notice that you have to opt-out if you do not agree to their new rule that you can not "class action sue" them anymore..
