Vanilla card still work?

I havnt registered a new credit card in years. But my back up account had its card expired. Can we still use the Vanilla gift cards that I used years ago? If not then what are we using.

Avoid cards with expiration date 5/19 even 10/19

Yeah thats what im trying to find out. i doubt it though since it only uses the zipcode not full address.
