What does this mean?

I sold my first item on one of my stealth accounts with Amazon, it was a Bluetooth headset it sold for $77 dollars. Today is disbursment day, I received an email at 1 in the morning saying my disbursment is on its way. When I try to log onto my account now though it won't let me, I think it was deleted. Will i still get my money?

Gamefreak 11-27-2012 06:07 PM

highly doubt you will get your money. How long after the disbursement email did you try and log in?

zelpher 11-27-2012 06:08 PM

12 hours give or take

bboard 11-27-2012 06:21 PM

Sorry

I don't think you will get it ... if an account get deleted within less then 24 hours of disbursement they almost always reverse the deposit

webguy 11-27-2012 06:26 PM

I don't understand the reason why you cannot log into your account, but unless you receive an email from Amazon stating a reason why, I'm sure it will go through.

Are you sure you entered all the correct information when logging in? If they say it is being dispersed, "as zelpher said" It takes around 12hrs to go through. I wouldn't worry just yet. Give it till tomorrow, and if it still hasn't gone through, it's time to worry. Even then, fight it the best you can. Make up ****. I have done wonders B.S.ing Amazon and Paypal on the phone. You just have to know what to say.

Will I get an email is the disbursment didn't go through?

BigCJ 11-27-2012 07:42 PM

Webguy, This is not always true and becoming even less true everyday with amazon.

Zelpher. It is HIGHLY DOUBTFUL that you will receive your funds.
when an account is deleted, the funds are usually gone.

The only chance it MIGHT get to your bank is if you had around 12 - 16 hours from the disbursement date to allow it to get to your banks side. Even then, it can be reversed.

I am sorry, but you probably lost that battle. :violin:

Gamefreak 11-27-2012 07:45 PM

Yeah you have no chance of getting your money. now it if was a day or 2 then if would be different but right after its unlikely

Probably no

If your account was deleted less than 24 hr after a disbursement, then your disbursement is gone.

Look, I know what this is like because I had a similar thing happened to me a few months back in September. I lost $847 when my account got deleted a day after disbursement ... and when your account gets deleted they don't send you any notification, Amazon simply cuts you off

zelpher 11-27-2012 08:24 PM

What triggers this kind of account deletion?

Not too long ago, if an account got suspended, Amazon USED TO send an email called "Notice: Your Amazon Seller Account" and it would say why you were suspended (ODR, linked to other account, copied media,

but ... it seems they don't have the courteousness to even do that anymore so you have to guess

I can't say unless I know what you did while you had the account ... but maybe you could describe what might have caused it :noidea:

kenshintr 11-27-2012 11:36 PM

So it legally for them to delete your account and keep all the money?

I don't know if it's completely legal per-say but I think unfortunately there isn't much a seller can do ...

You know how when you sign up to create a seller account you HAVE to agree to their terms and agreements?

Well those terms and agreements pretty much say that they CAN legally delete or suspend you on a whim for whatever reason they want to protect their site ... including not liking the color of your underwear

You are selling on their site, so they can pretty much do whatever they want ...

kenshintr 11-29-2012 03:51 AM

Yeah I figure that as much but let said an account have thousands of dollars just gone in an instant wow...

TheSkyInYourEye 11-29-2012 07:21 AM

Have you tried logging in normally, not through seller central but through a way that makes it seem like you're only a buyer?
