Unauthorized charge backs with amazon..
 

Do sellers usually win if they provide tracking number and proof of delivery? I have a fishy order on amazon. The sellers name is Matt, the ship to address is to Paul. That sent an alarm in my head(its a laptop).
To be on the safe side I emailed the buyer to see if I would get a response and I did, and it came from a Tina.

Im still new on amazon but with ebay when the names dont match I get charge backs....

Names on Amazon don't match all the time. I would guess 10% of my orders have a different name than buyer account name.

9 times out of 10 you are protected by amazon. The case may drag on for a while, but looking back on some of the attempted scam chargebacks, it says that I have been protected by amazons credit team.

amazon is better in this respect.

Possibility at this time of year, buyers may be purchasing an item for another party. Just been thro' similar with a sale that turned out to be gifts.

Of course, if you feel really worried....
