Google Voice phone for amazon no good?
 

I made a google voice phone number to connect to my home phone number. But Amazon phone registration is not as same as the ebay's. Amazon ask seller inpute the a Pin code which shown in the screen. It seems that google voice phone can't transfer the pin code which I input in my home phone to Amazon. Are there any way for phone registration for Amazon.

I know for a fact, that Google Voice works with Amazon setup registration

When I registered on AZ, the pin was given verbally not via display so this seems odd

check your internet connection maybe it's too slow, that happened to me before

Google voice works for me. Just test your google voice number to see if you can receive calls. Sometimes incoming calls have stopped working for my google voice number.
But amazon should give you the pin verbally. Like ebay.

I've had a case on eBay where a text message with a PIN # was delayed by about an hour. I thought I was doing something wrong, but it turns out it was getting delayed somewhere in transit - possibly an eBay server was being slow. I know this was eBay not Amazon but I imagine you could be experiencing a similar technical error on Amazon / Google Voice as well. It's not necessarily (but could be) something you are doing wrong.

For ebay registration, ebay will call you and say a code in the phone, then you input the code into ebay registration page of your computer. In this way, google voice phone works.

For Amazon registration, Amazon will create a code in the registration page and ask you input the code into the phone when they call you. I input the code into my phone which connect with google voice phone, it seems that google voice phone can't transfer the code I input in my phone into Amazon.

I wonder how to solve this issue

I tried enter number in my phone touch pad, but google voice seems having difficulty transfer my information to Amazon.

I just tried it this morning and the call never came through. I've tested the g-voice number with my cell and it's fine, but when the 'call me now' is clicked on amazon, it never would come through. I'll experiment with another number and see if the call comes through.

alright, so I fired up a tracfone and the call came right thru. weird. the gvoice number i had tried first was being forwarded to magic jack and then forwarded to a different tracfone. prior to adding the gvoice number to amaz, i tested the gvoice number from my cell and it went thru no problem. but when amaz attempted to call the gvoice number, it said there was no answer. hmmmm.

thoughts?

you have to press 1 before you will input Amazon code

no, when i clicked 'call me now' they attempted to call but it never would come through. it would then say 'call not answered'.
