How many of you are featured merchants?
 

Hi all. Please post here and let us know if you are a featured merchant or not. If you are featured please let us know how long it took. Featured will put your listings above non-featured merchants and will drastically increase your sales. It should be something we all strive to become.

I currently am not featured, I only have 1 account, had the account since November 2011, but only decided to treat the account as a professional business since October 2012.

This isnt realistic for me so I dont worry about it. ....kinda like dating a super-model.:nerd:

I am a featured merchant on Amazon. It took me 4 months to achieve the level.

Why isn't it realistic for you, zoneout?

I mostly deal in refurbished electronics so I can never move enough product to meet the requirements.

I was but recxently got suspended..... Really sucks!! Was making 6500-7500 every 2weeks!! It really does help in sales!!! But I have a question..

I got suspended because of Late shipement due to me having to take my 6yr old to the ER and them him having surgery. So that took a few days!! Causing buyer to leave BAD feedback asking where items were!! Even though they have a question section for that!!! Everyone but 2 removed it so I dont know. Havent appeal yet but still receiving a some positive feedback.. Should I maybe wait til some more items have been received before I appeal? Or is there no hope..????

im in the same boat as you. same timeline. Ive only been a pro merchant since like black friday weekend.

This is my goal. Im like losing sleeping trying to build my amazon account. super fast shipping, fast responses. etc. My 60day sales is 22k and ive got 100% feedback. really dont know what it takes but cant wait till the day I wake up and im sold out of everything.:cheer::cheer::cheer:

Been awhile since i got my featured status but took awhile as I started with 1k turn that into big bucks in 2.5 years ive been on amazon

What are the requirements to be Featured Merchant? I looked and didn't see any inventory or monetary value listed. Is there a rough unmentioned amount of sales that you guys know are needed based on previous experience? Is it roughly $10,000/year? $100,000/year? More/less?

I just found out you need to be a Pro Merchant, which is $39.99/month. I'm going to sign up for that now. I'm doing more than 40 sales per month, so the $.99 fee/sale that is waved for Pro Merchants will make the switch worth it. Wish I knew about that earlier this month! :/

For featured to be of any worth at all you need to be selling NEW items. As used/refurb items there are no featured merchants. Lowest price to highest price

What I don't like about amazon is if u sell more than 1 of the same item, only the lowest priced item is placed in order, your other items are only listed after the highest priced listing

Really not trying to be rude here, but a few days of missing shipments will not get you suspended.

No, But I stated .. missing shipping + buyers asking where in there items via negative feedback.. Insetad on messaging...
