Amazon Seller Review ?

Hi, I created a new account using Ghost but I still fail the seller review process within the same or next business day.
I have followed each and every step from the book.

Does anybody know why ?

Also what is a good item to sell and to keep selling on amazon without having problems getting suspended. Thank you!

Also what does Amazon look for when they review the seller account as a new seller ? They usually just email and say that you have failed the review process.

Are you getting suspended within the first 2 HOURS of opening the new account?

The first two hours from when you open the account is the most crucial and when your account goes into auto review to see if there is anything they don't like ...

If you fail that initial review they just simply delete the account and say "you failed the seller review process"

One more thing ... for those who have created a seller's account recently, do you need to input your Tax Information during the setup right away?

Also have a questions.. I opened an account and in.2 weeks I failed seller r eview process. Any idea why? i had made aboit 1200 in the 2 weeks and had to wait the 90 days. I had no complaints or anything

Hi my account last about 2 days and then it says failed seller review process. And whatever funds you have will be getting in 90 days.

What do you try to sell right away? Are you ALWAYS selling the same thing?

You need to state STEP BY STEP what you are doing - be clear.

Hi @rsot it was makeup that I got as gifts. And yes it the same items. As far as the other information from the book. I have followed it. Please let me know what I should do. Thank you

If you come back on Amazon and try to sell the same items again, Amazon's detection system will think it's you trying to come back again and (most likely) will suspend your account

Hmm makeup can be considered high risk if the price is VERY low compared to retail - and then trying to sell again on new account would definitely flag it.

Suggest you follow ghost method - make new account - try selling low end items first.

Treat amazon like ebay on steroids, tip toe around until you can easily be viewed as a legit seller, then start slowly selling your products

Sarah512 12-26-2012 11:48 AM

Hi @rsot what are low end items that I could buy and resell on amazon and it wouldn't be a problem getting suspended. How much QTY Should I list on amazon ? Do you suggest selling make up if I start slow and if yes how much QTY?

Sarah512 12-26-2012 11:48 AM

Hi @ speeder any good advice on what I should do and what should I sell. If I sell makeup then how much QTY do I list on amazon as a new account ?

I like this way of looking at it ...

From personal experience, Amazon is 1000x stricter than eBay, especially when it comes to suspending/deleting Seller Accounts for even the smallest infraction

Since my Amazon acct got suspended back on Nov 1st I've created since over 14 Amazon accounts, most got banned within a few hours- some within a few days and along the way I learned a few things about the way Amazon bans. Here are my findings.

1. Create a ghost account (all the steps in guide) BUT do not list any items right away- wait 24 hours.
2. The following day list 5-10 low priced items and sell them.
3. Wait for delivery and hustle for feedback
4. List 10 more a few days later- BUT make sure you stay well bellow the $720 28 day velocity limit.
5. repeat steps 1.2.3.

My first disbursement was a low $300 on each I currently have 3 active running Amazon ghost accounts. I'm not out of the woods yet because they're all less than 30 days old but I've gotten kicked enough times by Amazon to know better by now. Slow and steady wins the race.

Best of luck.
