Can i partition the hard drive say 3 times for multiple ebay accounts and put an operating system on each with no problems linking. Is this correct or will I get linked.

Why the hell would you want to do all that work for nothing. It does not matter how many times you partition or format your hard drive. You are still going to get linked with IP if you are connected to the same router.

There are still several other ways you can be linked.

BUT an easier way to do what you are asking, is just to create separate user accounts on your existing operating system.

For Windows 7....

To create a user account

To open User Accounts, click the Start button , click Control Panel, click User Accounts and Family Safety, and then click User Accounts.

Click Add or remove user accounts. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Click Create a new account.

Type the name you want to give the user account, click an account type, and then click Create Account.

I use dial up no linking.

Another alternative would be to use VMWare to create a virtual machine for each account. It creates similar results as using separate user accounts but also has the benefit (at least i think so) of not having to deal with tons of user accounts on the same computer.

I like it because it keeps everything separate.

Dial up and different user accounts works for me too
