Default How to keep track of expenses for tax reasons?

I really hope this thread doesnt get closed.

What do you guys do to keep track for taxes? Do you have a excel sheet or something? Do you use a third party app? Any advice on this would be extremely helpful. Im already at 110 items on amazon this year

If anyone has an excel sheet can they share it?

You can use an excel sheet or something like Quickbooks. If you can download your sales history from amazon, simply save that then at the end of the year paste it into your excel file and use that for your sales figures. Then use another column to track your expenditures, add it up at the end of the year, etc.

nothing beats quickbooks in my opinion. it is user friendly and there is a ton of information out there on it. it makes you look like you know what you are doing even if you don't. highly recommended

So, what do you guys do, just download your reports from amazon then add in any costs in quickbooks?

I track it by sale, so when I sell something I enter the fees, costs and sale price in quickbooks. It can generate any report you would ever want and has tons of tools. Its extremely helpful.
