Vodafone dongle in the UK - Sure Signal
 

I use a vodafone dongle very succesfully n the Uk but the speeds are terrible at times.

Vodafone have a "Sure Signal" device which plugs into your home broadband and provides a perfect, strong signal for your phone or dongle.

Does anyone know if this will report the location differently to Amazon - at the moment, the ip address lookup for the dongle is based at Vodafone in London - i dont want to buy a sure signal and find it is reporting my true location to Amazon .

im using o2 one but it also gives me my exact location.

anyone know one which gives different locations?

@batman when I have previously looked on these geolocation sites they seem to have their server a long way away...but maybe there is a site which gives better info that you are using batman, which site are you using batman?

OP, you are refering to the mac or ip? differing opinion on whether mac can be tracked anyway, as for location of ip, you can just test that yourself and see if it differs...

I was meaning the ip location - dont want to spend £100 buying one just to find out it doesnt work, if you know what I mean - thats why I thought i would post here first

I always have new EVERYTHING for a stealth account - just throw the old hardware away so MAC addresses are not an issue for me

I do not know how you can spend £100 - all you need is an unlocked dongle, you can get from ebay or unlock yourself and then buy a 1 month sim and you can check...you can try t-mobile, 3, vodaphone etc

oompa with the £100 hes going to be spend he will also get pre loaded data

yeah I know but data has got way cheaper if you now where to look...
