My amazon seller got suspended years back,now its reopened?
 

i was wondering if anyone has had this happen?

im not even sure what my current situation is to be honest

My amazon seller account got suspended years back,

i logged back in recently, and now its reopened?

well it seems to be open, and i think i can list items for sale.

i haven't actually tried to list anything yet, but judging from what i can see, everything seems normal in there.

it doesn't seem suspended or anything.

this is my normal amazon buying account as well and i always use this to buy stuff.

Does amazon automatically reinstate accounts?

or is my account actually really suspended, and if i actually try to list something, it will pop up with some message telling me i can't?

Why don't you try to list something that can't be sold to check it out?

TonyAlm jumped on it - yes try to sell and report back - reopened does not necessarily mean you can list. Not standard AZ policy for sure...sad to say but standard policy is to BAN, DELETE, and KEEP FUNDS.

Odds are if this is a really old account, it may have been a temp suspension

It might have been on of those suspensions when seller cannot list item while they are doing the review.

Ya, sounds fishy. Usually when an account is gone, its gone. There really arent any surprises on how amazon handles accounts.
