What happens with FBA customer returns?
 

What happens when amazon ships your item and the customer wants to return it? Do you need to approve it or will amazon automatically approve it?

think of FBA as amazon actually selling the item themselves and just paying you for sending them the item.

EVERYTHING is taken care of by amazon

amazon are YOU.

They do all the hard work instead of you having to go stand at Post Offices etc.

If the buyer has issues, FBA deals are also handled by amazon without (often) drama for your account.

I wish I could approve fba returns and have them send them back to me. There is an item im having high returns on because customers do not understand that the video card will power 4 monitors, but only display 2 signals.
Im going to start displaying the above issue under notes and charging a restocking fee on this item and want to send the remaining inventory to amazon.

Amazon will automatically approve it and handle the return - positive note is customer less like to defraud you - negative note is...yes you have no say on the return approval.

You can have FBA returns shipped back to you from Amazon for 50 cents each

Be careful to check your settings for defective items, they may be shipped back to you automatically and you will be charged for them. You may not want them back. Also, if you let defective items sit at Amazon warehouse you are getting charged for storage. For those you don't want it's best to request a disposal of them which cost 15 cents each
