Doing FBA with items purchased from Amazon

Is this asking for trouble? Can Amazon tell where they came from? There is no labels on them besides a UPC.

IF your items are genuine and not high risk, probably not worth worrying about - you would have less chance of having problems.

Are they?

Dude, if you have bought off amazon and then selling FBA, check your margins as I guess you will be making a loss

Didnt read his post starter like that...hmm if so, true on profit margins

I don't see why not, I have often pondered this very question.

Why not do a test? Create a new account and give it a whirl.

I think it's a great thing to do to get your account going. I buy legit low risk items in bulk and then resale them on Amazon as individual items. If Amazon asks where you get the item you are covered.

However, If you are buying FBA items that have a sticker on them and you put another sticker over top of it and send to FBA, others have said they had their accounts suspended over that.

Ok, I was referring to buying non-fba products

I know, I wanted to throw that info in there too.

What are you saying, you buy bulk items on Amazon then resell them on amazon?

These were not FBA items but directly from Amazon, so no stickers at all but my concern is if the manufactor maybe puts them in a different box/upc for amazon then say bestbuy or another retailer.

I bought 1000 pcs of an item and sold them individually in anther listing. It was not directly form Amazon but a reputable seller, an the items were very low risk and no question of being phakes.

Kelly441 04-03-2013 11:55 AM

I mainly sell these to generate orders and keep the ODR down. I might make 20-30 cents each on them. They generate anywhere form 200-500 orders a week.

How do you search for wholesale on Amazon?

Kelly441 04-03-2013 01:16 PM

Well you have to pinpoint an item you think you can sell and then look for it in bulk on Amazon.
