Amz USA JAPAN AND EUROPE

From what I have learn't mainly in error as I have used a banned UK bank account number with my USA account and this has not been linked. Basically my UK account was deleted over 6 months ago but my US is still going strong. So the question is, do EU,JP and USA all have separate databases and cannot link accounts between them.

As I understand it, these days you need a jp bank to sell on amazon.jp or is this an old account?

When I register an Amazon, I register on UK, USA, FR, DE. If one account goes under review, the others are ok. However, if you get suspended on say USA, them log into UK, then that account will go down also.

This is just my experience and.not.gospel

sax 4, there a company called Jumbo in jp who will collect your cash and do customer service, if margins are good then there are ok, yes never use the euro account one goes all go. No our US is still open and going strong, same bank account as UK but different IP

Great thanks.

On all my Amazon sites I use same details, ip, and bank.

Might give Jumbo a shot. Also I wonder if there are prepaid cards that act as bank accounts in Japan.

No you have to have a JP bank account if you go on your own and a person who can reply to customers in Japanese. Thats there rules. No English at all and google translate is not good enough. Your UK CC will work to set up an account

From what I have seen they have databases that are shared but people have been able to keep selling on other platforms - consider yourself lucky but have backup accounts going in case

sax4, google translate in japanese is useless and amazon know you are using it as the grammar is dreadful. Japan is a good marketplace but the customers are hard work and ask lots of questions

All the Amazon platforms seem to accept USA bank account though if I recall correctly.

MICKY H 04-16-2013 10:04 AM

No Spain, Italy and Japan need accounts in those countries

GreenBean 04-16-2013 11:09 AM

Not with amazon.

Differs from paypal.

Greenbean, if you sell on amazon jp, italy Canada and Spain you need a bank account in that country. You can use same bank account for US,UK,DE and Fr
