Received an order for a wireless adapter from, a wireless manufacture?
 

Qualcomm Atheros, a maker of wireless hardware, just ordered two items from me

I'm nervous that they might come back and say im not an authorized dealer. Im the cheapest for this item but im stumped why a huge company would order something from me? Especially when they make the damn things!! The item im selling is not made by them but im sure they have a chip or they have something do with with what im selling.

Would you cancel the order or still ship out?

Maybe they are doing it so that their sales reps can go around and say this is their product and this is our much better product. If they were buying from you to bust you, then they would make sure you did not know it was them.

Thats what I was thinking....but.... I cant imagine they need to go on amazon, im sure they have vendors or something to buy from.

If its a sting, maybe the buyer just goofed and forgot to hide the company? I googled everything and that address is infact listed on their main website.

Maybe they're checking for counterfeits? Last time when I checked Qualcomm/Atheros isn't an @ss like Rosetta and similar companies where you must be an authorized reseller to sell their merchandise. There are plenty of used wireless cards for sale online as well, I highly doubt it.

Companies are known to purchase your items on amazon as its a lot harder to detect ⊗⊗⊗⊗ due to the fact that there are no pictures. If you have nothing to hide them ship the item. If your item isnt what the listing says its suppose to be then remove it.

I would ship it out. It just doesn't seem like you have anything to worry about because since you are not advertising the adapter to have Qualcomm parts in it, if in some way you are infringing on a patent of theirs, then you have plausible deniability. It would be too much reaching on their part to take any action against you. I doubt as if they would be using one of their main corporate addresses to bust sellers. Usually that is outsourced to another company, a law firm, or some clandestine department that would not be located at corporate.

Also there are many reasons that they might want to purchase you item that don't involve any negativity towards you. In all the case I can think of, a competitor or vendor would not be too thrilled to hand over the item to them.

So after researching this TP-link, tp-link is a customer of Qualcomm. Why not call up tplink and say hey send us some gear?

Me no, the stuff I sell is legit to them purchasing from me is the least of my problems. One thing you usually dont have to worry about is negatives as they NEVER leave feedback,

The only thing that worries me, is that they want to be the big bully company and get rid of you, but if you dont ship it out than that just looks realllllly bad.

Well, my stuff is legit and quite honestly im only nervous because I purchased from amazon on sale...And amazon might not like that if they find out :)
I have 4 left, I dunno what to do....

Maybe raise your price to match amazon?

Im the same price as amazon, plus 5$ for shipping so im over amazon. My concern is they go back and tell amazon that im not authorized dealer, amazon says provide invoice and I send them an invoice from amazon :pop2:

If your item is legit and you have proof, no worries - ship it out. If you are worried this much, cancel and eat the ODR rate hit

Weird thing thinking about this. Ive found 2 of my major suppliers on amazon becuz they bought items from me.

sometimes they have a customer who just needs something, or they sold it thinking they have it in stock and it's just worth it for them to order it and ship it from there

Well im just going to go for it I guess and ill update with what happens...I was going to cancel the order and list the item over the weekend figuring they would not be at work to order, but that could get me in trouble....

Maybe you sell it for less than they spend to build it so they want to source the product from you.

Ok they received the package today at 8am....

I was doing some shipments just now and exectly at 3am(12am pst)im not able to log on....now what?????

Funny, I just recieved an email from a customer and my storefront is still up.....maybe amazon is just having a hiccup??? I would hope for something as little as two 90$ items they would ask for invoices or something and not delete account? gulp, i hope!??!?!

I just got an emai from amazon-alert@amazon.com or something...I thought i wasnt going to want to read this email but, it said they felt someone gained access to my account and temp blocked, that it is now unblocked and I can reset my password....

You will know the suspension email when you see it.. YOU CANNOT mistake it for anything else once youve seen it before.

Was the order addressed direct to the company or did it have a contact name on? I could have just been one of the back office workers ordering something from Amazon and getting it delivered to their work address?
