Whats going on with stupid buyers

So last week I had 3 order cancellation request. The yesterday I woke up to 2 negatives for those cancelled order.

Wtf is going on with these retards. They ask me to cancel their orders so I did.

In the feedback they wrote that they cancelled or stopped the order so I really dont get it.

Can I get az to remove these as they are affecting my feedback %

you can try calling up amazon and seeing what they say, but i think the general consensus around here is to avoid calling if possible

is this a brand new account? did you already add a bank account? if its new and no bank is added you may want to think about ditching the account and moving on to a new one

You could try emailing seller support through the help section and ask for a feedback removal without calling. You may get lucky but usually they will only remove if it is profane, has personal identifiable info, or is a product review and doesn't say anything about seller service.

These are easily removed by az. Especially if they are customer requested cancellations. If you cancel because you don't have the stock, that could be a problem. Also, from what I remember, az added something a couple months ago where the customer can click some magical button and cancel the order themselves: when doing this process, your statistics are not affected (and feedback is not possible as I understand it). Might want to check into that and then have the customer cancel their own order in this method.

right n8zzz that is the new cancellation request so it doesnt affect metrics if the buyer cancels the item.

Account is 2 years old but very poor feedback for the sale that it get. Talking like 2% feedback rate.

ODR being over 1% which is what gets a lot of sellers suspended, is calculated over all orders regardless of whether feedback is received, so if you are doing a lot of transactions a negative feedback isn't as bad.

Even if the buyer leaves negative feedback, as long as you aren't receiving a lot of negative feedback all at once you will probably be fine. It seems common for sellers on amazon to have 92-98% feedback, which on eb would be low.

Sounds llike it could be a competitor if they requested the cancellation. 2 at once also seems a bit suspicious.

something is strange. It does not make sense....I can see if you didnt cancel it and shipped it out, but you did what they asked?

barrycruan 05-06-2013 02:21 PM

@gamedfreak, funny enough only a few days after replying to this the same thing happened to me with a buyer. I appealed it with amazon not expecting much luck but they actually removed the feedback. I'm sure it would be worth appealing these if it is affecting your stats. Let me know if you want more info.

Must be the ebay buyers floating over to amazon. Do you still have the messages showing their request to cancel?

Gamefreak 05-06-2013 02:59 PM

Oh yes sandy as unlike ebay amazon keeps messages for along time plus I never delete anything I get from amazon.

Like barry I appealed and amazon removed it pretty quickly and notified the buyer.

I emailed buyer first as like 2 weeks later buyer emailed me back wanted instructions on how to remove it but by then I had already contact amazon to get it resolve.
