We initiated a transfer to your checking account
 
I got the message "We initiated a transfer to your checking account "

Is it safe to say that if they were going to keep my money and not send it that they would have done it by now?

What concerned me was I got this message last night. When I go into my balance it shows zero balance, but when I pull up the details it doesnt say it was transfered and says that it is scheduled for today the 4th but the disbursement date was yesterday the 3rd

as a general rule, as long as you can log into your account and they say they have started the transfer, then you will get your money.

As long as you can still log into your account the day after the transfer (approx. 24-48 hours after the transfer) you WILL get your money ...

Very nice cardinal rule. Allow anywhere from 24-96 hours depending on your bank not including weekends.

It changed from scheduled to "transferred"

With Wells Fargo, if the disbursement is on the weekend even Sunday I get it on Monday.!

Ive noticed they changed the wording in their emails over the past few months. If you go back and check your payments you will see some were sent the day of the email and some the following day, I guess it just depends on their processing so maybe they changed the emails that got sent out.

Leave a little with the bank if the account is new and you intend to build relations with the bank...
