VPN & iPhone Email

2 questions...

1) If I access Amazon through a VPN can they still track my PCs MAC address?

2) If I reply to gmail emails from Amazon on my iPhone can they track the IP and MAC address on my phone (on either 3G or wifi)?

As far as I know they cannot track a MAC address regardless. I hope that never chances. If when you reply to an email though Gmail it goes though the Amazon system (as apose to replying to a personal email address) they will be able to see your IP
