ghost acct passed, can I relist the same items?

I created a ghost acct on amazon. My account is going through under first review.

1. Can I list the same item that my past two suspended accounts had?

2. I looked some posting said if more than 50% is new item, amazon would not detect the link account, is that right?

3. Is SKU what amazon looking at? If I have different SKU number but same item. Does amazon know this is same as my past suspended account?

4. The review is taking more than 2.5 weeks now. Does anyone know what is going on? Should I call Amazon? If I am going to list some more item, is this going affect my account?

My account:

feedback - 3
transaction - 35
amount - $1500

Old items should be in a 1:10 ratio with items not on old account.

luckystar 05-13-2013 06:12 PM

I see. how do they consider this is the same item?

GreenBean 05-13-2013 06:54 PM

Many many different ways.

SKU, ASIN etc.

Are you 1000% sure you are truly a new stealth you?

The fact you ask about listing the same items suggests otherwise. Sorry.

I am sorry. What do you mean? Can you please explain your questions?

My first two acct is suspended. I am creating a third ghost acct. I am trying to sell the same item I used to sell and I want to avoid linked account. Basically this is what I am trying t do......

GreenBean 05-13-2013 07:14 PM

That this method will see your being detected again.

You need to ensure that your new ghost account DIFFERS.

Simple fact.

:ranger:

luckystar 05-13-2013 07:20 PM

I did that. Right now I am selling most is NEW different items.

After first review completes, is there any possible way to sell old items and avoid link account?

Can I do 1:10 ratio like the guy suggested?

Kelly441 05-13-2013 09:27 PM

Is the new account in a different city? Selling same items in same city within 90 days could be a problem.

kuroneko44 05-13-2013 09:49 PM

I was banned last year in July due to a ODR of 1.2; I decided to take a break from amazon for a while till November. In November I listed the same items from my previous account under my moms name and had no problems. I'm not saying you should list your old inventory but I'm assuming the 90 day rule is somewhat accurate. I'm currently slowly adding in my inventory to my current inventory at a 1:10 ratio to a new account in a different city.

Wes 05-13-2013 10:58 PM

Can you list in a 10/1 within 90 days, or do you need to wait 90 days and then do a 10/1? Or after 90 days does it matter? Assuming different cities.?

GreenBean 05-13-2013 11:43 PM

Oh man!!!

We witness the creation of yet another urban myth.

Where is it proven this formula works? Right now it appears hearsay only to me.

Amazon will catch you if you do an automated upload from say monsoon with you old stock as you will be using the same sku as which monsoon and many other pricing software companies generate automatically and this sku is unique to you. If you manually add stock the chances are less likely

1. Not by itself - looks bad.

2. Amazon is quite advanced and can see through your web of deceit.

3. Not just SKU - pattern of activity, time of day, items listed, etc. - again see #2.

4. Call or no call - you probably arent going to get much of an answer. I would just wait. Best of luck - Amazon is quite the complex machine - get other stealths going.

Seems a little over the top, but I would tend to agree since I always err on the side of caution. I personally suggest 25% or less, but as GreenBean said, it's all hearsay..there is NO formula for this that is public knowledge.

rsot 05-16-2013 11:36 AM

Amazon likes to keep stuff proprietary so it's rough to analyze 100% on patterns but there do exist some.

Wes 05-18-2013 09:30 PM

relisting items not a good idea if they are branded ph@kes

I tried this 3 timez every which way and lost 3 accounts. If it is low risk, you ahould be ok but the 10/1 wont work if they are high risk and your ip is in the same area. Imo

kwikiimart 05-19-2013 02:40 AM

I been doing just 25% old inventory for about two months now and my account is still fine.

You mix it up on a 3 different to 1 old ratio then - nice to see it works for you

Any new update LuckyStar?

I'm about to set up a ghost account myself, and would like to sell some of the same items, but make a new listing with new UPCs. Would that help not get flagged in everyone's opinion?

rsot 05-31-2013 11:04 AM

We can wait for luckystar to report back but from my viewing on Az, if the listing is new with new UPC, it maybe survive for a bit ...until OTHER sellers come in and and kill the listing (if the product is seen as risky). That's one part of the Az platform to consider. Get in while it's good

Swag2012 07-08-2013 09:07 PM

I have a question regarding this topic also.....

I was one of the few, and in some models, the only seller for a particular item. I have noticed that since I have gotten banned there is only one other seller who jumped on the listings that I crated. Here's my questions:

Since I deal with a rare item, if I was to just go ahead and create a product with a new UPC code, do you all feel that it would go unnoticed ? I'd plan on changing the item's name and description obviously.

Thanks

Yes, absolutely. You will NOT be linked by creating new Amazon listing pages, no matter how similar they are.

Also, if you don't want to "give up" the popularity of your old listing, it is not the end of the world to go back on there and relist with your new account, so long as it is done within a "healthy" ratio.

I have created several listings for rare products like you. Got suspended, then opened a new account and relisted back on those listings without any problems at all.
