Account under review help?

Hi I just started selling on amazon about 2 weeks ago. My account is under review because I have sold too much and have little feedback.

I think there is 99% chance that this account will be suspended as I may have been selling a few things I should be selling. So I have sold about £1200 worth of stuff in 2 weeks.

My question is - should I keep selling during review process to get rid as much stock as possible before being suspended?

no stop selling

concentrate on making more ghost accounts

and learn from your mistakes, which is ???

I know this one. Selling way too much in a very short period of time. A big no no. Start slowly and build it up. If you need to sell lots, use lots of stealth accounts.

youve done sell bazza .i wish i could sell £1200 gear in such short space of time.

chances are they will suspend your account.

This question is purely situational. Generally, you would want to stop selling on this account, or continue to sell only after/if the review passes. However, if you have a lot of money and a ton of inventory, you may choose to continue to liquidate it on this account and collect the funds 90 days later.

Keep selling and BEG your customers for feedback. Tell them amazon is holding the money until they leave feedback. Its ( feedback ) VERY important for the first 2 reviews

I have used a light note with the shipments in the past to kindly ask for feedback - some respond, some dont...it is a rough system since most people who are one time buyers will not go back on the platform just to leave feedback

What bugs me is amazon do follow up with buyers & ask how to rate a transaction.

You would think that might prompt the buyer to leave feedback.

It does not, of course.

I dream.

BAH

Well i sold about 30 items on amazon and have no feedback yet or complaints. Amazon can't blame me if no one can be bothered to leave feedback. Anyway I stopped selling for now until I pass review. Back to ebay stealth

schris142 05-23-2013 09:45 PM

my amazon account is currently under review,i thought nothing off it so long as some money was getting released each week.
anyway i phoned up amazon to ask why its under review and was told its standard procedure.
i was also told that i could appeal it.
heres where i got clever i told amazon that ill just leave it and wont appeal it as i dont really need the money so long as i get a bit of it each time it gets released.
first month i got 1500 released and they held onto the other 1000
2nd month i got the 1000 and they held 300
next month there releasing the 300 and holding 0
oh and ive only got 9 feedback and 1 neg and its not stealth if that makes a difference

kockedoff 05-23-2013 10:00 PM

you think just because you told amazon you dont need your money they started giving you more and holding less?

jeffweico 05-23-2013 11:01 PM

I don't know what the threshold is in the UK, but here in the US and newer account doing more than $500 in sales over a 14 day period will most likely be reviewed.

Maybe someone with more experience in the UK knows the threshold.

If THIS is the review they are conducting on your account, then it MAY pass the review.

You don't want to sell a LOT more, but you MAY want to sell another item or two to make it look like you are confident. Of course, you must weigh this against the possibility that you may never see the money if the account is deleted.

A LOT has to also do with what you are selling,,,if you are dealing in "China Specials",,Then, you should Know what to Expect,,,If you are selling Shoelaces,,well, then you should be just fine

MICKY H 05-24-2013 05:14 AM

Just email all your customers, you can get the report from amazon of all your sales, asking for feedback, be polite. If you want to sell a lot, use FBA, little chance of review as amazon are running your business. As long as your goods are legit you will be fine. I can sell £5000 over 2 weeks on FBA with new account and no review.

That's speculation - Az is all about STATS and PATTERNS - they dont take "being told" too much
