Asking for feedback/review email..
 

I keep getting these emails for stuff I buy on amazon where seller asking me to leave feedback, review for their product... They include my name, order number and link where I can leave feedback for that specific order.. How do they do this ?

It might come from Amazon itself depend on what email you got. One email per order or multiple email per order?

You can use a service called Feedback Five

Feedback Five is worth exploring if you intend to do the same -

It this ok with amazon... Amazon usually don't like u contacting customers

amazon normally generate any requests for this type of activity I have had.

feedback five is approved by amazon, they use your amazon token and access all your data and send feed back reminders out to customers, you set the parameters, if a customer does not leave feedback another reminder is sent. it works really well.https://www.feedbackfive.com

Alright, can you show me where it says that feedbackfive is actually approved by Amazon? I just went over their site and didn't find anything. Any 3rd party software can use your amazon token data. The automatic repricers I have used uses their token as well.. but none of them are "approved" by Amazon.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND feedbackfive. Check the forums a few of us had BAD experience with them on amazon.

I personally had to recover my password as someone tried to jack my account 2 hours after I signed up and someone from their kept trying to add their email to my account.

so big time sellers with 500k+ feedback's are using feedback five?

Doubtful. If it's a very personalized email from a big time seller, they could be paying someone to pump out the emails. Like I said in another thread though, you can send out a generic email to hundreds of people all at once by using amazon's "export orders" into .xml format. The more I look at feedbackfive, the more gimmicky it seems =/ sorry to say.

Really depends on how big your business is, if you are 10 items a day feedback five is a waste of cash. Selling 500 plus it takes out all the hassle and it does generate lots od feedback

Except for the fact that, Amazon doesn't approve it, members on here have claimed to have been hacked shortly after signed up for the service, and lastly, if you do a search for them, you can find hardly anything positive that anyone has ever said about them. Oh except for the whopping 10 testimonials on their website. Their site which anyone could pop out in less than day.. yet has apparently been around for over 3 years!? This crap looks like it's straight out of the box. Nice reputation it has built up in 3-4 years :bored:

tried numerous times right after I gave them my info... luckily right after I got the email from amazon I changed my password as required and then they tried to add their email to my account for whatever reason idk.. very shady company if you ask me..

n8zzz, you obviously a massive grudge against this site. All I can say I have several of my larger accounts running there software and it is pretty damn good.
slim jim, if the service is good people will eventually leave you positive feedback.
I get 40% plus feedback on all my sales when using feedback five yet about 5% on my smaller accounts without it.

What feedback range are ur accounts in ...1000+ .? 10,000+ ?

The thing I am interested in knowing now is if any where we can see amazon approval for such services

I'm skeptical of everything, that is all. If 2 people say yay and 10 people say hell no, I tend to go with the majority.

I hear that - when I can (and it isnt 100%) but majority of the time, I will do a trial run and see if it can be beaten or if I fail miserably - annoying but yes, self-confirmation

That is true GB. In the end, I really cannot say anything about feedbackfive until I have tried them out for myself. I actually do respect Micky's opinion as I have come to understand that he/she is a pretty legit entrepreneur and not any newbish seller fresh off the bus.

Was using 3rd party feedback requedt system every an issue with amazon?

Never had a problem with amazon and feedback five, amazon as you know encourage you to get feedback from your customers.Amazon won't like it if you send marketing to customers though. Most new accounts go on review as they has not enough feedback against sales.

Mind you kockedoff, plenty of problems with amazon over the years for other issues.

It is hard to get that feedback sometimes.

I do manage but I would prefer not to have the hassle.

As you say GB, you have to work on that feedback, its so important and I think its the biggest metric that amazon use to evaluate your account.

I regard it as a slight advantage using ebay too.

Can apply some things from there to amazon business.

It is slow. But it does work eventually.

And that, of course, is helpful for the account to continue to function.

Kelly, I assume you don't use any repricing software in your business as with these you also submit your user name and password. Just going off track, but repricing software is 100 times more important than feedback five.

I reprice all my items if needed two to three times a day. I do not find it consumes enough time that I have to use a pricing service. I would never give someone else my Amazon logon info.

Kelly, we have over 10000 lines on various accounts, so we need repricing. What do you think these companies are going to do with your password???
