Help me Appeal an A-Z claim.

A few months ago a buyer opened a claim. It was for a 20$ item. I didnt want a neg so I refunded the buyer right away. The buyer claimed damaged shipment
Ordered Feb 20th
Shipped 21th
Delivered Feb 25th
A-Z opened April 2nd.

This is the only bad thing on my account and im still mad about it :(
Everything is perfect.

I read Amazon allows 30days for a buyer to dispute damaged shipments. Can I appeal this? Its not affecting my short term ODR butttt I just dont want it on my account if its not called for. Im in the top 25% right now and maybe if I can drop this ill lose a few points and get a better % :)

Can i fight this? How?

You can only try to appeal - sometimes you get answered but many times you wont. Not much you can do when Amazon decides on matters. Just protect yourself better with shipping

Forget about it and move on. Even if you win the AZ it will still affect your metrics and as the case is already closed there is no point in fighting this. The only way you can stop an AZ damaging your metrics is if the buyer closes it themselves before a final decision is made.

edit: To clarify, Im pretty sure you cant do anything about the AZ at this point anyway, but even if you could it would not change the impact it has on your metrics.

You best bet would be to close the case, refund the buyer and move on. Do not involve amazon on such a petty sale.

Thats what I did. I guess it makes sense not to have amazon in an account for a 20$ claim but it still just erks me.

Why risk negative feedback?

" but it still just erks me. "

It erks my with a lot of dumb buyers but unless you have built up enough orders that it won't affect your ODR, you just have to take care of the customer no matter how much it annoys you

A deleted account will irk much more.

Avoid rocking that boat.
