Item bought 5 days ago

Item was just bought and shipped and shows in transit.

item is delayed.

Buyer files an a-to-z claim not delivered yet.Amazon grants it wtf??

Now I will be out 150.00. They wont refuse it or return it I know the scam they pull.

Contacted amazon with no replies...

If it is still in transit try contacting the delivery company and cancelling the delivery, and then have it returned to you.

Signature conformation for something that high a value?

You could win if you appeal as long as it shows delivered. Or you could teach the buyer a lesson a sue their a$$ if you put signature conformation on the package.

Good idea. If you cant and you have no signature confirmation...yes it's going to be a loss I'm afraid :( sucks

Last I checked, Amazon won't decide on A-to-z until at least 7 days after they're made. I'm assuming, like the smart seller you are, you at least waited the full 7 days to respond to the claim, that way you'd be more likely to have a delivery confirmation by then. If no confirmation at the 7 day mark, you would have then asked for an extension on the claim decision. That's about how it went down, right?

That is how it went.I will try and contact the shipper and get it returned hopefully.

This is just our way of doing things, so it might not be the best for everyone.. but one whatever item you sent, we would have paid for either the 100 or 200 dollars of insurance for it. Using a setup on something like Endicia allows you to do this for quite a bit cheaper than the normal USPS rates (there are other companies that do this besides Endicia, but I recommend them).

If a buyer is going to claim that they didn't receive the item, then they should be more than happy to sign a little 1 page emailed form stating that the package was lost in transit.

Often times, in situations like these, that is the only way to get compensation for a package that just "disappeared". If the insurance company wanted to investigate it further at some point.. it would be the buyer who would be seen at fault for signing a document under false pretenses.

We always go for the insurance over signature confirmation. The cost (depending on the amount of insurance) always came out to be very close to the sig conf, with the additional benefit of compensation should the package actually fall into the cracks of the earth.

You are saying amazon agreed to the a-z claim under 7 days?

Imagine amazon agreeing to a claim when an item could still be in transit.

You must be so unlucky.

Unlucky ain't that the truth!!!
