| beatstreet13 | 06-21-2013 10:57 AM | Using suspended accounts with new isp Before I begin, I would like to thank everyone for the great info in this forum and to my savior Amazon Ghost.
Anyways, my new refurbished computer just came in, along with my new att uverse service (had old att dsl). My new seller acct has been open for two weeks with one book up for sale.
Is it possible to let my wife use my old suspended accounts for purchases with the tainted computers and just use my new refurb with the new stealth account without getting the new acct suspended?
Thanks in advance...... |
Do NOT touch old suspended accounts whether for buying or selling - you could get crosslinked with your new stealth account.
Make a brand new buying account only - stealth way - and go clean from there.
All the best. |

DON'T use any other computer in the house login to your suspended account. Quote:

| chilaxincoro | 06-24-2013 07:17 PM | No, I would not do that as that could result in getting crosslinked and getting banned. You will need to make a new account |
| Post Modern Sleaze | 06-25-2013 03:22 AM | If there isn't a chance of getting cross-linked, then sure. Understand that the suspended account is on it's last legs though - if you get a policy violation or your metrics drop into the red then it's fair to say that account will get removed and you'll lose it. |
If you have already dones this plan OP, you need to change your process asap |

Very very very dangerous.
Would be distressing if the OP damages his account |
| Post Modern Sleaze | 06-25-2013 06:03 AM | I would take evasive action - one IP per account, unique environment for each account.
Never cross the streams. |
| beatstreet13 | 06-25-2013 08:23 AM | Thanks for the info.
Here's an update. My new uverse account has different ip/modem than old dsl.
I told my wife to not use old account on this new uverse line. I guess I will tell her not to use at all now.
My main concern were using the my other computers with the new uverse line. Knock on wood, they have been fine.
I only use stealth acct on my new refurb.
Do you think it's ok for my wife to use old susp acct at work for buying? |
| beatstreet13 | 06-25-2013 08:24 AM | Also, what does "OP" mean? |

Such as buying stuff on the suspended account and using an address on the new account, similar name, phone number, credit card, etc.
The fact that the OP was asking that sort of question in the first place means he should probably think twice about even accessing that old account under the same roof at all. |

:argue: | And therein is the issue, whether experienced or not, messing around with suspended accounts...not a great move | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 08:52 AM. | |
