Is there generally a way you can tell if an item is safe to sell?

I found an item on sale to resell, Amazon is OOS, and I can make my goal in profit for the item.

Only thing is I noticed the manufacture is selling the item too. That is making me nervous. I dont want them to get my account killed....

Item has 45 sellers. Is this generally ok to sell in this case?

It depends on what you are trying to sell. If the item is mass-produced by counterfeiters, you will be taking a risk - especially if you have the lowest price.

Its not....atleast I dont think. Its not headphones, apple, software, etc.

Its just computer hardware.

It SHOULD be OK, but with Amazon, there are no guarantees.

I would try listing ONE of the item and see what happens. If it sells and there are no issues, then I would list more.

The stuff that is risky only have a few sellers, am i correct? Anyone run into something otherwise?

No one know what are you selling. Just create new account to sale them if you don't want to kill your account

If you have a receipt for your merchandise and it's from a credible US based company, they cannot touch you. You just need to make that perfectly clear in case you get a message from the other buyer. Take a picture of the receipt and show it as proof.

Always good to experiment and see the market - be up front with good customer service. I like the recommendation of jeffweico
