Amazon still have my 5000€
 

They deleted my account in April 2012 and kept the 5000€ on it.

Every time I had them on the phone they said that my account is on hold, that they can't access it, and that I should email : seller-performance@amazon.com or payments-funds@amazon.com

Which I did several times without success.

Does anyone know what should I do? Thanks

Amazon will not respond to you and has no intention of releasing your money. Your account has been "deleted". You can email every day, call every day and it will not make any difference. The only way I have heard of anyone getting their money once an account is deleted is if they get an attorney involved. Sorry for the bad news.

i would suggest go complain to the attorney general what ever they call that in france and explain your situation as long you didnt do anything illegal they might help you out

I would go and talk to a lawyer about it.

The only problem with that is if the account is stealth. Then, you have to explain exactly what you were doing and they may not be inclined to help you. Going to an attorney in private practice is a much better solution.

I don't know how much lawyers cost in France, but 5,000 euros is about $6,400 in US dollars, which is a good amount of money. If the attorney can get the money released without going to court (here in the US, the first thing they do is draft a letter and send it to Amazon's legal department) it should cost no more than a couple hundred euros.

Sure, it sucks to have to pay a lawyer and fight for your money, but it is better than losing the entire amount.
