Prepaid consensus
 

Is there a consensus on which prepaid card works best for Amazon? And just to be clear, if I need to register the card, I should do it in the same name as my Amazon account? Therefore, change my name slightly?

Is prepaid easier than VCC (which I don't understand)?

Prepaid cards are physical cards purchased at many stores with a pre-determined amount of money on them. They are also known as gift cards.

VCC's are virtual and available from sellers here on the forum, or you can sign up for something like Entropay and generate your own.

In either case, the important thing is that the card is registered to the stealth address and zip code. Names are not verified. Only the NUMBERS in the address and ZIP code.

Only thing which needs to be clear is that Entropay is not good for Amazon seller set-up...go for different VCC or gift card like Vanilla Visa.

Unlike Vanilla Visa, you can NOT edit the information you mean MM78? Just trying to clear if so.

For the card I just posted, once you enter the name, address, zipcode, etc it can't be changed, unlike Vanilla Visa you Can change the zipcode at any time.

The Vanilla Visa I just registered only asked for my zip and nothing else. Will this work on Az or have I gotten the wrong card?

For vanilla visa, just need the zip code to match. All of my stealth is done through this.

Yes vanilla visa works great I even like their prepaid debit cards to use as bank accounts , regions bank, I have 4 bank accounts with them and use the vanilla visa as a cc for all acounts

No matter what you get to work you need to be cautious that if they figure out it is either vcc or gift card the account will instantly deleted.

To expand on brazenknights comments - If amazon become suspicious about the details you entered to create a seller account they will contact the card issuer and request your details.

Pre-paid cards protect your identity, however the response from the issuer will be that your details are protected under the data protection act and that this information can only be accessed with your permission.

The consequence of this is that amazon will burn your account after asking you to confirm your identity which, of course, isn't an action you can do.

The card has certain numbers that identify its type.

There is no 'figuring' by amazon.

All cards can be identified by their numbers.

Make sure you have an ACTIVE balance on the card at all times - at least 5-10$

Nil balance on the card may be much more of an issue than amazon identifying
the type of card used.
