Amazon Merchant Account Review
 

Amazon Merchant Account goes into review after a couple days of selling, but only a 7-day rolling reserve is placed on the funds, not the entire balance..

Does this simply mean it's better to sign up as a pro seller since there are no holds on your funds?

If the same review were to be put against a regular seller, and not a pro merchant, the money would be held until the review is up.. Right?

Pro seller may be askded for tax ID.

Account reviews can happen on personal or professional accounts. Money can be on hold for 30 days pending a review. A lot depends on your account metrics, the age of the account and what you are selling.

If Amazon does not like what they see, it will not make a difference if your account is a Pro-merchant account or not. Holds can be placed on either.

You will get the same restrictions for pro or non pro. after you have the 7 day hold removed you will go through countless more depending how much and how fast you grow the account. the worst of them is the 1 month that comes usually after a $50,000 cash out has been reached. if you make it through that review which from my expierence they are just looking to make sure you sent out the products you said you were. (having tracking numbers will help get out of review but you will still do the full 30 days before they will look at it) when you reach the 100k per cash out mark if not done at a gradual pace. again you will see an even more in depth review where some jak a## will tell you everything you have done wrong the entire time you have been selling and maybe hand out a few policy warnings. and if your luky and he determines you are not a problem account then you will get off suspension. but he is personally going to be watching you and has his finger on the suspended button waiting. now if you are doing HK shipping it is an entire another ball game. but until i get verified on this site and get some rep points or whatever i need to get hooked up with vcc's...that is all i am saying about that.

So you need to get hooked up with some vcc's?? There are many sellers on here that offer them if you look around.
