Amazon 2 Accounts
 

Hi,

I am up and running with an amazon account with no problems, making sames etc. but i have some items of the adult nature that i want to sell on amazon but i do not want to sell under the name that i am currently using (electronic parts store) is there a way (using amazon rules) to get/use a different name, or is it "legal" to open a second accout with amazon or will they close both accounts?

Generally speaking, Amazon only allows one account. However, you can get pre-approved for a second account if you can convince them that you have a legitimate business reason for doing do. This sounds like a legitimate reason since there are people who might not want to do business with someone selling adult-oriented items.

i kinda figured that would be the process, do you know how to start the process do i just send customer service email or is there a form?....

Amazon (when it comes to selling) is really not that easy to navigate...

If your name is EPS (abbr.), I would suggest editing your post and put some phake name or no name at all. There are a lot of lurkers on this site and that is some super personal info :mod:

You can open as many accounts as you want there is nothing illegal about it. The issue is it against amazon policy. Yes and no, yes if you are selling the same product on multiple accounts. No if you are selling different products. You can even ask permission but unless you are big boy they will just say NO. After saying that it is not agaisnt policy if you are not selling the same products on the same accounts. I would still put it all on cloud servers with different address and vcc's or gift cards.

Probably best to keep it simple and make brand new stealth guide - rather than involve your primary account
