Has Anyone Been Served a Lawsuit by Another Seller?

I personally have not, but another seller threatened me with it.

I'm curious of the outcome, if Amazon sided with them.. and if anyone is willing to show the documents (if they were served) with blacked out personal info. It would be sooo helpful.

And of course, the disclaimer... I am not asking for any personal information, such as names, the nature of the merchandise in question, or even why it came about. I am only interested in the legal process taken by the seller and their lawyer. Thx!

I have never heard of one eBay or Amazon seller suing another seller. What would be the grounds for the lawsuit? Only answer if you can do so without identifying yourself or providing any info you are not comfortable providing.

Here is the thing. In America, you can sue anyone for anything you like, as long as you can find a lawyer to take the case. But, very often, someone thinks they have been wronged so they see a lawyer and are told either that they really have no case, or that they will only represent them if a retainer is paid. In both cases, they drop the thought of a lawsuit.

T-mobile sent me a cease and desist letter. I ignored it. Ended up being a bluff. Probably not a good example though:)

I would actually be more scared of a letter coming from a company like T-Mobile than I would be of an email from another seller. T-Mobile has a lot of resources and lawyers on staff. Most small-time sellers do not.
