Taxpayer id info submitted does not match IRS records.
 

I tried to search for this subject but I get more and more confused.
I submitted my real name (very common name) and my real ss,but not my real address.(It is the post office address where my po box is).

Now they are telling me that the taxpayer identification info submitted does not match IRS records.

What really bothered them?The address? Everything else is real so I dont know.

Any advice how can I fix it?Im not selling anything bad,all I had is 6 sales.

Could try telling them you moved this year and the address hasn't been updated.

They are only matching the NAME to the SSN. But the NAME has to be entered EXACTLY as it is on your social security card. So if your SS card says "JOSEPH M SMITH" and you submit "Joe Smith" it will not match.

Jeff is correct.. the IRS does not track your exact location at ever given moment. Your SSN and real name must match exactly. If it comes back negative again, you need to call the IRS about it, not Amazon.

Just resubmit the ein or ss with the correct or real address.
It is not a big deal and even if it is not correct again you will still be able to sell for 30 days before they suspend your account until you get the correct info in and then they will unsuspend you.

I wonder if you can provide a copy of your social security card and ID. Probably overkill though.

Lol.With a banned address?I prefer not to.I resubmitted it adding my maiden name even though it was banned what can I do?Not much, 2 days passed so far no email.
