USPS picked up delivery and marked as "deliveried"
 
I've never experinced this so I was just wondering what happens after a postal worker marks a shipment as "delivered" by mistake?

I noticed the tracking is not getting updated any more, but I guess my only hope is the buyer is honest and does not file a claim after getting the item?

It will still get there right?

Ive had it happen before and the postal carrier usually fixes the error.
If not, try contacting the local post office where you dropped it off or contacting the carrier that picked it up?

Be prepared to contact the buyer if you see no movement or updates in around a day or so.

You do not want to trigger the buyer into thinking they are getting a free item.

Just my opinion.
You should wait for others to chime in

USPS most likely can correct this error , just call in and give them the tracking number . Just contact the buyer and let them know ur package is on the way and its just a computer glitch that the post office has been made aware of and is in process of fixing it but the package is enroute... Something along those lines. Not every buyer is a scammer most are not and appreciate good communication

Hrm, thanks guys... I'll call them tomorrow since they are closed now.

But to confirm the packages are still in route?
