Removal Order
 

Has anyone had any experience with removal orders on a stealth account?

I have 3 high dollar items that were damaged, that I would like returned to me, but I am using a PO Box and it has to be a physical address. Since I originally used my physical address, I cannot use that again.

I was going to use my neighbors address, with my son's name, since none of them has ever been used- but I was not sure if that would somehow link me, since the street address is only off by one number.

Not sure if I should just write off the products as a loss, or if I should use the address. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Address being off by 1 number is fine as long as the address is different but if you cant have them returned to you, then it's a problem.

Why cant you have the items returned to your po box? I dont see the problem - I have had items returned to a po box before...

I was about to ask exactly that. Why can you not have it returned to your PO box?

Send buyer a prepaid shipping label to ship anywhere you want.

well i issue a refund then post a pre paid jiffy bag with my po box address on it,,
and send a message to buyer.

OP, your technique to use your neighbor's address is normally a pretty solid one.. especially if you have a little dialogue with your neighbor saying something like, I think a package might show up at your address because a number got typed in wrong to an order. Generally it's not a big deal and sometimes you mailman will even take it upon himself/herself to take it to your house instead upon reading the name.

Why assume the neighbour will go ahead and like any of this?? Better to send a prepaid label with a safe address. Avoid involving others just because you are forced to be stealth

It's not a buyer, it's Amazon, they will not send a removal order for FBA items to a PO box. Not sure why.

If I was you I'm going to open a box rental at UPS,..... And use for 1 month then cancel.

I don't want anyone to involve in my business plan and don't want to owned favored from others. Spend the money and save a headache.

Not the best to get family or friends involved.

They reimbursed me for the big items so, I am not too worried about it now. But I might do that in the future.
