Amazon and pending orders!!

Why is it that all of the sudden I have 5 pending orders for hours?? Today I logged on to find that I have 4 pending orders, then another one came an hour after. By the way, I'm new selling on Amazon, I have sold the same merchandise in the past weeks, I have not yet received feedback. It's really hard to get customers to leave fb on Amazon.

Could it be a competitor removing my inventory, if so anyone experienced it?

Could it be that Amazon is reviewing my account quietly? I'm pretty sure they have already, before my last disbursement my credit card was charged $0.00, is a corporate cc I have nothing to hide.

Could it be my selling limits? When your company makes millions, yet you have selling limits and knowing you could end up on the same wagon as most sellers here, it kind of rears reality a bit.

My account has been validated months before selling and it is not a stealth account of any sort, we also ship our products timely.

In addition, does Amazon let you know when you can ship an order (notification) of some kind? I do not receive Amazon emails except for selling coach emails and messages sent to buyers emails.

Thanks!

No amazon just need to verify the payment with the buyer ... no need to fear

Pending can mean a few things, but usually it just means the buyer has an outdated card on file, or cancelled their card and forgot to update it with Amazon.

Yes, you should be receiving an email from Amazon when an item sells. Check your spam folder. Sometimes email spam filters flag these for whatever reason.

Thanks!

I've had pending orders for days before.. Then they finally went through all at once.

Swiftronics 07-24-2013 11:16 AM

Yes, you're all right, the pending orders felt through successfully, good thing.:nerd:

Now, I have passed the 3k dollar mark for this month, I feel as if my account was reviewed internally by AZ, and given an extended limit,

I feel as though there's no guarantee in sales velocity as I'd only 22 orders fulfilled this month, any body passed over 5K limits for beginners, if Amazon asked for my information is just an easy fax or email away, in case, thus my company even has a good business credit, anyway they could had search this?

all my orders have been shipped, I feel as customers need a easier way to leave feedback, may a link sent to them..:attention:

Can also be that Az's cc processing unit is being updated or undergoing a service change...many reasons for pending orders - you did right to be patient and wait for them to clear. Not worth getting worried about. You should wait for the Az message to ship it now.

Yea, every once in a while I have this happen. It can be a huge pain since sometimes it takes a few days and you have to log in everyday to see if payment has cleared

TonyAlmeida 07-25-2013 07:25 AM

I got this problem sometime. I remember that a few orders didn't give me the 2 days to ship/confirm windows but only 1 day.

a.v.limited 07-25-2013 08:07 AM

actually normally because u have sold things not backed up with feedbacks, send an email to previous purchasers to leave fb

also could be part of amazon review and potential closure

Swiftronics 07-25-2013 09:34 AM

Got some feedback, but I'm at the 3k with a new account, I feel as though amazon has given me a velocity limits review on the DL, should I pass the 4k and stay bellow 5k?

studio 07-25-2013 09:39 AM

I'm of the opinion that if you are legit, your items are good and your service is good you just go as fast as you can from day 1. As long as you can provide invoices from official distrubutors, business documentation and a plan when you go into review then you will pass fine.

If you have set up your account based on false info and docs then I would be more cautious.

I realise many will disagree with me.

Yes, I have all that information, this is my first time selling on Amazon and the account has been validated, I guess they saw I was delivering all my orders on-time, and received fb, I passed 3k in sales. For most people I read their account's got put on review at even at $13 bucks.

TonyAlmeida 07-25-2013 10:30 AM

Glad to hear that you are doing good bro.

One of my new account just passed review and heading to 3K now. Will get pay some of it next week :)

This time the review only 1 week instead of 4.

That sounds awesome, the review lasted a week you said? It would be good if disbursements were only 7 days and reviews only lasted half that of the regular 30 days.

If I go on review, I most likely would go no-stop on sales, until the review was done, that way amazon will get a feeling of my sales, If I go over the 3K rn, I have this gut feeling I will get put on review.

TonyAlmeida 07-25-2013 10:56 AM

All my account are individual account and get pay every week. Yes, the last account passed the review only in 1 week. I didn't appeal it, just keep selling and ship.

I would be careful at this point jumping to that conclusion.
